asthma

Ten yr old Duncan!!! He has ALWAYS joined whoever has been sick, and all his asthma problems are soon to follow. Why didn't we come to you 5 yrs ago??? A couple of months ago, using Ravensara, he was 80% over his asthma except when he'd get allergies or a cold and then we were forced to rely again on his asthma prescriptions. After going to you finally, you explained to HIM how important for him it is to stay away from the dairy and sugar and we put him on Inner Defense to keep him from getting sick, and that was almost two months ago and in his TEN YEARS, he has NEVER gone this long without sickness and asthma problems during the winter months. I thought it was awfully bold of you to tell him if he'd do what you told him to do, that by April it'd probably be the last of the asthma he EVER has for the rest of his life. But these oils have taught me to EXPECT the miracle, and I can't BELIEVE this, but it looks like he's over his asthma forever. We will continue staying away from dairy and sugar, and continue Inner Defense. These oils have SAVED us so much money on prescriptions! MF

diverticulitis

I had Diverticulitis about 5 years ago. Not knowing what it was because I had never had that problem before I saw a doctor.

The doctor diagnosis was diverticulitis and he gave me a prescription also. I did not fill it either, just went home and started using :
Comfortone and I.C.P. Di-Gize, Thieves in a capsule with 3 drops oregano and cleared it up completely.

bone pain

Somehow I hit the top of my 4th toe left foot on a wooden chair leg. This was painful. I put on Idaho Balsam Fir, then Lavender, then Deep Relief roll on. It was very tender when I applied the first oil. Repeated about every 20 min for several hours. The soreness was gone after the first cycle. No swelling, only slight bruising. No impaired movement of toe. Mary Schlueter, RN

diarrhea

Under not so pleasant circumstances, but in a funny and intuitive way I found out that Ledum appears to be quite helpful with diarrhea. For the last two and a half days I have been experiencing a bad case of diarrhea (food poisoning or one of these strange viruses going around). Nothing seemed to help (Di Gize, Thyme, Lemon, Oregano, Mountain Savory, Ningxia Red, Ginger, Cypress, Chamomile). Yesterday evening on one of my visits to the bathroom I took a book with me as a distraction from the discomforts. Coincidentally it turned out to be a book on medicinal plants I had gotten from the Library (it was the closest one to grab on the way). Well, sitting there in my pain I thought let's see to what page/plant it will randomly open. It turned out to be Labrador Tea (Ledum). Under medical uses it mentions among others "It is slightly laxative, yet helps soothe diarrhea". I had to grin and say "thanks". Since I definitely was in need for something soothing, I gave it a try (5 drops in a capsule). It made a small yet noticeable difference. This morning I repeated this, and the attacks have lessened tremendously (and are more comfortable if one can call it that). I think I will from now on more often open books randomly and see what helpful hints are to be found :)Soon to be well,Elisabeth

pits stink

I have decided to only use deodorant without any toxic chemicals. It is my understanding that the chemicals that are put into antiperspirants, may have a link to breast cancer. Unfortunately, living in humid Texas weather can be very difficult when only using natural deodorants. They just don’t seem to work all day for me. I found, by accident, if I use Lavender Essential Oil on the bottom of my feet, my pits no longer smell all day long! I tested my findings and sure enough, if I didn’t put the oils on my feet my pits would stink within a few hours. I then started using the lavender again and the stinky pits are gone! Another amazing find of how Essential Oils can change your life. Sheryl Hawkinson

grampa kidney failure

My grandfather has been quite ill for some time now. He has Alzheimer's and then we found out his kidneys are only functioning at 22%. So, I've been applying oils for his kidney's (juniper, ledum, lemon grass and Release) for a few weeks. He fell and hurt his hip at home and eventually ended up in a nursing home to get back on his feet. What a joke. I walked in to visit and annoint him with oils. I found him in the common area. I was HORRIFIED by what I saw. His skin was ashy gray in color and his head was slumped on his chest. He wouldn't lift it when spoken to. I got him back to his room and had him lie down on the bed. I removed his shoes and socks and applied those four oils to the bottom of his feet. Within ten minutes the color came back to his face and he was alert and talking. My Mother and Aunt both were there and saw it. They were both impressed. The nursing home kicked my Grandfather out after his insurance ran out. This was a blessing for sure. He had Alhziemer's going in but when he came out, just two weeks later, he couldn't put a sentence together. He was nowhere near that bad. Coming out of there he was wearing diapers, which he wasn't when he went in there. He also got a bad case of pneumonia as well. Of course had to pay thousands of dollars for this top notch care too. When he got home I rubbed RC blend on his chest and three days later his pneumonia was gone! His kidney's were functioning at only 22%. He was one step away from going on dialysis. After annointing him with the oils for his kidney's (ledum, juniper, lemongrass and Release) three days a week for three months his kidney's are finally getting better! He's also been on the NigXia Red and the K & B tincture which I know have helped too. I live 45 minutes away from him so three days a week was about all that I could manage. I know if my family would listen to me and quit feeding him junk like glazed doughnuts and soda he would be getting better even faster. Unfortunately I don't have control over that. Rachel Lipovec

cat kidney failure

My kitty, Sammy, suffered a drastic reversal of health over avaction we took. We left town for only 3 days to visit relatives. When we returned, I was shocked to discover that Sammy had lost all of her hair on her hind quarters, was listless and wouldn't eat. We took her to the vet, and after some tests were taken it was found that she was suffering from loss of kidney function. There wasn't much the vet could offer, so I decided to turn to the oils that had helped my family and I so many times before. After I applied 1 drop of Helichrysum, diluted w/ V6 oil on her spine (down around the kidney area) for 2 days, her kidneys started working again, her appetite returned, and her behavior returned to normal. I continued giving her this diluted Helichrysum mix, just 1 drop every day or so, and although she seemed to be feeling well, her hair wasn't growing back. I started giving her a tsp of NingXia Red mixed with her food twice a day, and w/in a few short weeks, her coat grew back and was gleaming with health! Its now been several months and she really looks forward to her Helichrysum and NingXia each morning! Peggy

kidney stones

Kidney stones are no fun! My husband describes it as the body trying to push a watermelon or a jagged bolder through a garden hose only on a much smaller visual scale, and more constant pain than he has ever experienced! He has had, on four different occasions, the experience of dealing with kidney stones, twice requiring an emergency room visit or doctor office visit. This past year we were introduced to Young Livings Essential Oils and with my husband’s most recent kidney stone attack we applied oils to see if we could avoid another expensive emergency room visit and pharmaceutical treatment. The EODR suggests the single oils of wintergreen/birch, geranium, juniper, helichrysum, fennel, and lemongrass; And making a blend of Eucalyptus radiate, Geranium, and Juniper. We didn’t have all the single oils but we did have most of them in YO blends. We used: •Panaway with helichrysum, wintergreen/birch, clove and peppermint •RC with Eucalyptus globulus, Eucalyptus radiate, Eucalyptus australiana, Eucalyptus citriodora, Myrtle, Pine, Spuce, Marjoram, Lavender, Cypress, and Peppermint. •Lemongrass •Juniper •Lemon I layered 5 to 6 drops of each of Panaway, RC, Lemongrass and Juniper over his kidney and gave him a glass of purified water with 5 to 6 drops of lemon in it. Within ten minutes, the pain switched from on to OFF! Just like a light switch the pain was gone! Three days later, he passed the largest stone ever without any pain and without any visible blood. A week after that, again he passed another notably sized stone without pain or visible blood. We believe Young Living’s Essential Oils are responsible for my husband’s quick recovery and will continue to make major differences in our health and lives. God is so good to bring these oils into our lives to be used! Tracy Rushton 2006-05-22

kidney stone pain

Author: Sherlene Turner Country: AustraliaPosted: 2009-04-20
Four weeks ago it looked like our male guinea pig had kidney or bladder stones because he would squeak in obvious pain when trying to wee. His wee looked like small amounts of white liquid with chalky-type sediment. We checked on the internet and with guinea pig breeders and were told that these are signes of kidney/bladder stones and that it needs immediate veterinarian intervention. Due to just having taken two other animals to the vet and trying to recover from the huge vet bills, we didn't take him to the vet to confirm the stones but we did consult the Essential Oils Desk Reference. We put lemon oil on the guinea pig's tummy and there was never any more squeaking. The sad part is though that we didn't dilute the oil enough for him and it burnt his tummy a little bit, but we didn't know until after it scabbed over as he didn't squeak about that pain. Anyway, we've learned two things: according to Gary Young, Frankincense and Lemon oils combined rapidly dissolved his own kidney stones (and stopped his pain), but the guinea pig's stones seems to have dissolved with just lemon oil; and essential oils need to be diluted for topical use with guinea pigs. I guess that means that we used our guinea pig as a guinea pig to test essential oils! It's been 4 weeks and the guinea pigs urine is now clear and he does not squeak with pain when he does his wees. We can't prove the oils helped him to get over whatever problem he had, but it might be worth trying if your guinea pigs is in pain with kidney stones.

kidney stone pain

Jessica Wild, the author and moderator of the Wild Harvest Yahoo! group, in response to a group member's question about her husband either flushing a kidney stone or relieving the pain associated with it. Jessica suggests a combination of 10 drops of pure Frankincense and 10 drops of pure Lemon essential oil in a capsule, taken every four hours. The beautiful aromatic essential oil of Frankincense is obtained by distilling the bark of the Frankincense tree that grows in Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and China. You will likely be familiar with the reference to Frankincense from the gifts that the Magi brought to the Christ Child, immortalized in the Christmas carol "We Three Kings" (as an aside, there is nothing in the Bible to indicate how many kings, or wise men, actually visited the Christ Child in his birth cave/stable). Along with Myrrh and Gold, it was considered a very precious commodity of the time... in fact, an essential part of any wealthy family's 'medicine cabinet', if you will pardon the pun. Frankincense was used as a cleanser and a balm for wounds, to quell fevers, fight coughs and colds, soothe bronchitis, clear laryngitis, calm the stressed, and embalm the dead. Frankincense was a birth-to-death agent.Pure, unadulterated Frankincense essential oil still works. It makes perfect sense as a purifying, calming additive in a capsule to help with kidney stones.

Frankenincense kill bladder cancer

Bio-midical central and alternative medicine journal reported a study on bladder cancer.

Methods: Frankincense oil-induced cell viability was investigated in human bladder cancer J82 cells and immortalized normal bladder urothelial UROtsa cells in 1 to 6 hours.

Conclusion: Frankincense oil appears to distinguish cancerous from normal bladder cells and
suppress cancer cell viability. Microarray and bioinformatics analysis proposed multiple pathways that can be activated by frankincense oil to induce bladder cancer cell death
